The more space the game has on your screen, the nicer it is to play. Here you’ll find the right way for every device.
All devices
iPhone with Safari
Quick: hide the toolbar
Safari then only shows a slim bar. The game gets bigger and you don’t need to save anything.
1. In the address bar, tap the icon with the box and two lines on the left.
2. Choose “Hide Toolbar”. If you don’t see it, first tap the three dots at the bottom right.
True full screen: save to your Home Screen
If you save Crowns to your Home Screen, the game starts like an app, without any bars. It takes about a minute, once.
1. In Safari, tap “Share”. Depending on the version, it’s right in the bar or in the menu on the left of the address bar.
2. Choose “Add to Home Screen”. If you don’t see it, swipe up in the list.
3. Tap “Add” at the top right. Then start Crowns from the new icon on your Home Screen.
The app on your Home Screen has its own storage. A game currently running in the browser won’t continue there, so it’s best to save Crowns before you start playing.
iPhone with Chrome, Firefox or Edge
These browsers can’t hide their bars. For full screen, save Crowns to your Home Screen. Then the game starts like an app, without any bars.
1. In your browser, tap “Share”. You’ll find it in the address bar or in the menu with three dots.
2. Choose “Add to Home Screen”. If you don’t see it, swipe up in the list.
3. Tap “Add” at the top right. Then start Crowns from the new icon on your Home Screen.
The app on your Home Screen has its own storage. A game currently running in the browser won’t continue there, so it’s best to save Crowns before you start playing.
Or open the page in Safari and hide the toolbar there.
Instagram, TikTok and other apps
If you open the link in an app like Instagram or TikTok, the page runs in that app’s built in browser. The game can’t be made bigger there.
In the app, tap the menu, usually three dots at the top right, and choose “Open in Safari” or “Open in browser”. Then follow the guide for your device.
Android
Tap “Tap to start” when the game opens. It switches to full screen and turns to landscape. If full screen is gone, open the menu at the top left (the three dots) and tap “Full screen”.
Even faster as an app: in Chrome, tap the menu with three dots and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
iPad
Tap “Tap to start” when the game opens, or later tap “Full screen” in the menu at the top left (the three dots).
Computer
Click “Full screen” in the game, in the menu at the top left or in the bar above the game. Press Esc to leave full screen.
Alternatively, the F11 key puts the whole browser into full screen.
